Top 10 Cleanest Cities in India 2020

Swachh Survekshan 2020 is a cleanliness survey which is done in India. It is the world’s biggest survey. It is commissioned by India’s Ministry of Urban Development. A total of 4242 cities are covered in a time-bound duration of 28 days. Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced the results of the Swachh Survekshan 2020. He announced it at the virtual event ‘Swachh Mahotsav’.
Madhya Pradesh’s Indore was announced India’s cleanest city for the fourth year.
Here are top 10 cleanest cities in India:
1. Indore
2. Surat
3. Navi Mumbai
4. Vijayawada
5. Ahmedabad
6. Rajkot
7. Bhopal
8. Chandigarh
9. GVMC Visakhapatnam
10. Vadodara

Puri even congratulated Jalandhar Cantt, Punjab for being the cleanest cantonment in India. The ancient holy town of Varanasi is the cleanest town on the banks of river Ganga.
