Top 10 Diff From Living in the City vs. The Country (Ontario, Canada) | Homesteading With BlackTinos

Cristian and I have prepared a list of the top 10 things we have noticed that are different since we’ve moved to the country from the city. Even though Cristian was born in Chile, he has lived in Toronto for more than 40 years. So have I. Together, we have put together a list of what we have noticed so far, since moving to Grafton Ontario this past January 2021. There will be more differences likely to come up The longer he can away from the city. So stay tuned for more info.

Cristian and Missy, along with their family, decided to move from the suburbs surrounding Toronto, ON Canada, to the rural county of Grafton, ON Canada. Cristian is Chilean and Melissa is Canadian, but with a West Indian (Caribbean) background. They have 6 children altogether and 2 dogs (Bernedoodle and Standard Poodle). Both Cristian and Missy are tired of the fast paced, city life and are excited to slow down and get their hands dirty by purchasing a "hobby farm". Cristian and Missy each had Grand-Parents that grew up on farms. They both also have some experience in gardening fruits and vegetables and are eager to take their knowledge to a bigger property. Because of their love for animals, they are also ready to take on the adventure of getting chickens, pigs and cows to further their self sufficient lives.
