There's a big market for fast and modern cars, however, it's a risky business. Whilst the top speed cars in the world are those, which are designed and made for the race-track, most of these versions are not street legal. It takes a great deal of modification to retain high speeds and still conform to the regulatory requirements for qualifying as a street-legal production car. We looked into the fast cars which are currently available on the market with two criteria in mind. The first is that they’re legal to drive on public roads and the second is that they achieve the highest possible speeds. Here are the top 20 street legal cars with top speeds.
