Top 10 Fastest Growing Economies In The World

In the last century, economic activities were mostly dominated by western countries. The USA especially in the post-world war 2 era dominated most of the economic activities in the world. The US and its allies in Europe controlled everything from trade systems to currency exchange systems. That was until China came around and changed everything. Today the Asian power controls over 40% of world economic activity. This in turn, spurred smaller countries to fight for their own space in the world economy. It is perhaps not surprising then that the recently released list of the fastest growing economies in 2020 has no country from Europe or North Americas. 6 are from Africa while the remaining four countries are from Asia and South America. In today’s video we look at the 10 countries that have been reported by the IMF and African Development Bank to have experienced the fastest growth in recent and coming years.
