Top 10 Halloween Law Firm Marketing Tips
Description
Are you a law firm marketing director and you’re looking for some ideas for marketing your firm on Halloween?
Check out this short video on this topic and click the link below for the full list of Halloween marketing ideas.
In this video I want to make three suggestions about creating timely social media posts for the holidays:
The first tip is in fact - - - Be timely: Seems obvious right. You should be posting on social media with holiday themes and so forth. But so many law firms miss opportunities to capitalize on current events like this. And I’m not talking just about a generic Happy Halloween post. I’m talking about photos of you in a costume or trick or treating with your kids.
What does posting about Halloween do for us? I think it humanizes us so people get to trust us. Yes, people hire lawyers based on skill and experience, but they also want a human they can relate to and that they trust. And being a normal person who dresses up or takes the kid trick or treating on Halloween does that.
Alright second tip - Have a Halloween holiday party and shamelessly post about it on your social media channels. Encourage and incent your staff to come to the office in costume and give a Starbucks or Chipotle card to the staff in the best costumes. This can be a morale builder. And you don’t have to dress in a huge costume, even a small non-obtrusive costume will do the trick.
But the most important thing is let the public know on your Facebook and Instagram channels and on your GMB listing about the party. Your blog post on divorce may not get many likes but the managing partner dressed in a Batman costume definitely will.
Ok, so there are lots more ideas in my blog article about what you can do to market on Halloween but I want to hit you with one that you may not have thought about. . . If you don’t want a party and you don’t want to dress up, how about doing something charitable? You and your staff can go to your local Target or grocery store and buy bags of candy and take them to your local Children’s hospital or perhaps you have a youth services center near you. You may want to promote this a little differently maybe more respectfully but there is nothing wrong with showing how your firm is active and making a difference in your community.
Ok, for more Halloween marketing ideas check out my blog article I’ve put a link in this post and have a very happy Halloween.
