Yoda, the ancient Jedi Grand Master that we all saw with Luke in the originals, then again in the prequels with Anakin, Obi-Wan, Mace and the rest of the Jedi Order on Coruscant. George Lucas has stated that Yoda was a mystical character. Like a Wizard. He comes and goes and you don't really know much about him. You don't know his species or his previous life, you don't really know anything about him at all.
