Jango has a deep connection to Death Watch, not as a member, but as a rival. Jango, in the Clone Wars wasn't recognized as a true Mandalorian, at least, not that Almec knew of, so it leads me to wonder if that will be developed by Boba Fett in The Mandalorian Season 2.

Not only was Jango Fett the template for the Clones, hired by Count Dooku, but he was also the best Bounty Hunter in the galaxy, known to have defeated many Jedi.
