00:19 : 10 GINEVRA DE’ BENCI is painted from 1474 to 1478.
This is one of only four paintings of women by Da Vinci, Ginevra de' Benci, a well-known young Florentine woman, is universally considered to be the portrait's sitter. Leonardo painted the portrait in Florence between 1474 and 1478, possibly to commemorate Ginevra's marriage to Luigi di Bernardo Niccolini at the age of 16.

This was the first prestigious commission of Da Vinci. It was given to him by the Augustinian monks of San Donato.
