Top 10 most stolen vehicle models in the UK 2019

New data from the DVLA has revealed some interesting facts about car theft in the UK in 2019. Included in this data is the Top 10 most stolen vehicle models of 2019.

The data shows that 56,288 cars were stolen in 2019. That equates to one car stolen every nine minutes, or 154 a day!

Further information from the office of national statistics showed that the rate of 'keyless entry' theft, whereby cars are stolen without the use of keys, nearly doubled from 26% to 49%. Further data showed that only 11% of car thefts are for new vehicles.
