One of the first things you need to do is protect the dash & glove box in your Model 3 because these surfaces can scratch & scuff easily. I scratched my dash about a month after getting my car and after a lot of research I found this spray and it cleared it up while also giving the whole dash & glove box a nice protective smooth finish.

The Model 3 interior camera isn’t active at this time, but if you don't want a camera on you at all times even if it is inactive, get some webcam covers. They’re cheap and you can easily stick them on the rear view mirror and feel more at ease with your privacy, and when Tesla does enable the camera in the future you can slide the cover to reveal the camera then slide it back as needed.

For the DashCam you definitely want to have at least a USB 3.0 flash drive. It's fast enough to record the Sentry Mode clips. However, some people prefer an SSD for more storage & faster performance. This Sandisk SSD is the best value in my opinion. The good thing is either one fits just fine in the Jeda USB hub compartment.

I waited a while to get a screen protector for the 15” center display but I’m glad I did. I chose the HD clarity version instead of the matte. It’s easy to install and if installed with patience it’s hard to even notice the screen protector.

The Escort Solo S4 radar detector helps alert me when police speed radars are nearby. I like to set my Autopilot to about 10 miles over the speed limit on highways, and since getting this radar detector I haven’t gotten pulled over. It’s completely wireless and runs off AA batteries which last quite a long time. This smartphone mount holds the radar detector better than the included suction mount.

The Fat Gecko camera mount is how I film my videos in my Model 3. It is a very strong & sturdy camera mount that has dual suction cups and holds my GH5 camera paired with a fairly heavy adapter and lens without any issues at all. If you have a lighter camera setup you can get this instead which is cheaper than the Fat Gecko but isn’t as durable and doesn’t hold as much weight.

I chose Tesla Stats app back in the day because it was the only third party Tesla app that showed up when I searched and it had a perfect 5 star rating. It gives you interesting data on your Model 3 including your rated range estimates and driven efficiency. You can use it to compare your stats with the average Model 3 owner and view helpful charts about how much money you saved compared to driving a gas car. It also includes the same controls from the Tesla app along with some helpful things like showing if all the doors are closed or not.
