This might be the story of a little girl whose self-image was wrecked by people but unfortunately, it's a more intimate story. Tsubaki Tomomi is renowned for having undergone 300 plastic and cosmetic surgeries within a period of 21years. She claims to have spent over 30 million yen ($280,000) on cosmetic procedures. She sought to take this path because of her mother who was never quite pleased with her beauty. She trolled her daughter even before strangers who politely complimented the little girl's appearance by shrugging and claiming that Tomomi was an ugly child. Her mother's words and dissatisfaction seemed to cut so deep into the girl's self-perception. Why wouldn't she fail to actually know her own perceptive or have a negative perception of herself altogether? While in truth parents are the foundation in which their children build their perception of their looks and ideologies. So an almost adult 18year old Tomomi had her first plastic surgery in an attempt to fix her childhood traumas. Since then she has undergone hundreds of beauty procedures including but not limited to jaw and nose correction. On the positive side of using a pretty good lump sum of cash to alter her self-image, she quickly climbed the career ladder. Nowadays she’s amongst the most sought after hostess in Japan. She's also venturing into the modeling industry. But like an insatiable master, she continues to spend most of the money she earns on plastic surgery.
9.Aaron Fotheringham
Commonly known as Aaron, Wheelz, Fotheringham, he’s the epitome example of disability is not inability. He was born with spina bifida which is a birth defect that attacks the limbs. This didn't stop him from charming his adoptive parents into making him a part of their large family at only two months. His mother was always encouraging him to do anything he wanted. He met many milestones at about the same pace as his peers. He pushed himself to walk on crutches and even wrote stories about a heroic cripple boy who saves the world. He later transitioned to using a wheelchair when his limbs gave in. He spent most of his time accompanying his brother to the park, which was popular for skaters. He marveled at the daring acrobatics of the aficionados. One day his brother and friends encouraged him to roll down a shallow ramp. This was the scariest challenge ever but he took the limp either way. It didn't end well as he fell hands first but he was reborn and hooked to this idea of wheelchair skater. This led to him embarking on months of training. He for sure fell in lots of awkward positions but one day he did his first backflip on his wheelchair then a double backflip. He uploaded these videos to his Facebook feed, thus the beginning of his journey to stardom. He was interviewed by CNN and earned a place in the Guinness World Records. His tricks aren’t done on a BMX bike or skateboard but a rather robust four-wheel wheelchair.
8.Dhang Van
This features the devastating story of a young Vietnamese boy, who lost his whole family. The ten-year-old boy not only lives by himself but goes fending for his own needs. The young boy refused to be adopted and has been living off his life in a rural village in Vietnam where he toils the fields for a living. Dhang Van caught the heart of many from his impeccable efforts to survive. Nothing worries the young man besides going to school and playing out in the sun with his age mates, but yet spends his days toiling in the fields planting vegetables. His traumatic life started at a young age after his mother passed away, forcing him further to leave in search of livelihood to support his family.
