Classifying Issues

Virus
Viruses are non-living (Hard to kill something not living)
No real cure

Nutrient
Tend to happen across the entire field or tunnel
Nutrients have characteristic appearances that can provide a starting point

Insects
Can occur overnight
Can have some variety specificity
Physical barrier is the “best” method of control

Fungi
The main class of problems
This is why we have fungicides

Bacteria
Difficult to control
Replicate related to temperature
Not typically our main issue
