There are countless origin stories for each Disney story and they're usually all darker than what we end up seeing on screen. And i mean go figure the target audience is quite young so we cant scar the kids that early on. We need to at least give them a chance. But y'know when they reach the age of like 14 you can direct them to this video so they can find out how dark and scary the world and Disney truly is. Sometimes, actually a lot of the time, there are no happily ever afters. You're lucky if you get a mediocrely ever after.
