TOP 10 Series Split || Michigan Hockey Highlights vs. #7 Wisconsin

The Michigan Wolverines had a tough match-up after not playing for 23 days due to a University wide COVID shutdown. They had to take on the Wisconsin Badgers, contenders in the Big Ten, #7 in the country, and fresh off of a sweep of the top team in the Big Ten in Minnesota.

Michigan started their true frehman goalie Erik Portillo, who has been impressive in the few starts he's gotten thus far. Michigan had an extremely solid second period in the first game of the series and found themselves into a 5-1 victory.

The Wolverines struggled a bit more in the second game in the series, though Wisconsin played significantly better. Strauss Mann played well despite giving up the 3 goals, which can be attributed to a much higher percentage of quality shots overall.

Regardless, the Wolverines still impressed with the series split, are possibly out of the Big Ten running, but are 11-7 on the season, and look to bounce back against a severely struggling Ohio State squad
