Islander Resort
The famous Islander Resort has onsite restaurants & bars, two beautiful pools & hot tub. They have an enormous beach area with plenty of lounge chairs $ tents, & a place to rent watersports equip. Even if you don’t stay there, you can still visit their beach & pool as long as you let security know at the entrance that you have come for lunch, dinner &/or drinks.

Robbies Marina
Robbie's is famous for feeding giant Tarpon. It is literally a feeding frenzy of Tarpon & Pelicans!  Robbie's also offers parasailing, kayak & paddleboard rentals which you can take to the nearby mangroves. They have a plethora of vendors selling decent priced souvenirs & an outdoor bar & restaurant with live entertainment.

Theater of the Sea
Besides dolphin, sea lion, parrot & other shows to attend, they also offer one on one experiences: meet/swim/wade/paint with the dolphin, sea lion, sea turtle, swim with the sharks &/or rays & meet the alligator or parrots. Call ahead to arrange.

Eco tours (including options for kayak & paddleboard tours)
An eco tour offers an opportunity to see any of the following: manatees, dolphins, nurse sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, many species of birds and fish & more. Get up close while kayaking through the mangroves. The crystal clear waters allow up to 60′ of visibility most days. Call ahead.

Keys History & Discovery Center
This museum features interactive exhibits delving into Florida Keys history, aquariums exploring the Florida Reef, Corals, the invasive Lionfish, a 35-seat movie theater, & a research library. The museum is located on the same property as the Islander Resort.  So kill two birds with one stone and make a day of it!

Enjoy a sunset cruise
Sunsets in the Islamorada Bay are gorgeous. They also have tiki cruises where you sit at a tiki bar and cruise around the bay. Call ahead.

Bass Pro Worldwide Sportsman:  
This is a gigantic store w/an aquarium & replica of Ernest Hemingway's boat "Pilar" which the whole family can board & explore. On the property is the Islamorada Fish Company (rest & bar), bait store & shark feeding lagoon (which is super fun to watch).

Dinner at the Islamorada Fish Company & then enjoy a sunset
After enjoying a look around the giant store & a nice dinner, walk 2 minutes over  to where benches and chairs are provided for people to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Hurricane Memorial
In the center of town is located a huge stone monument with educational plaques that describe the devastating hurricane of 1935 and the 408 people who perished in it.

Rain Barrel Village
This is a fun place to stop and get fun family vacation pictures with a giant lobster, enjoy local art galleries, boutiques with souvenirs & a place to get a yummy lobster roll for lunch.

Founders Park  
There are not that many public beaches in the Florida Keys, especially in Islamorada where most of the shoreline is privatized. This is a great small beach for families because the swimming area is roped off, it's shallow for a long way out making it great for wading & the water is clear and warm. They even have two dog parks, one for small dogs and one for big dogs. But they are not allowed on the beach.

One other main thing to do in Islamorada, although not shown in this video is fishing! Islamorada is known as the Sport-Fishing Capital of the World & is where backcountry sport fishing and saltwater fly fishing were pioneered.
