▶Playboi Carti is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. Formerly signed to Atlanta-based underground label Awful Records, Carti is currently signed to ASAP Mob's AWGE Label and Interscope Records. His eponymous debut mixtape was released on April 14, 2017, and his debut studio album, Die Lit, was released on May 11, 2018. His second studio album, Whole Lotta Red is yet to be released.

▶Kid Cudi is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and actor from Cleveland, Ohio. He has widely been recognized as an influence on several hip hop and alternative acts. Cudi's first full-length project, a mixtape titled A Kid Named Cudi caught the attention of American rapper-producer Kanye West, who signed Cudi to his GOOD Music label imprint in late 2008.

▶"Magnolia" is a song by American rapper Playboi Carti. It was released on June 13, 2017, as the third single from his eponymous debut commercial mixtape Playboi Carti (2017). The song was produced by Pi'erre Bourne. It is a reference to Magnolia Projects in New Orleans. The beginning is a sample from the Jamie Foxx Show, which is used as a producer tag for Pi'erre.
