Top 10 things you should never do in a Job Interview (Part - 2)
Hello Friends!

10 THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO IN A JOB INTERVIEW 2
LACK ENTHUSIASM
Candidates need to do their homework and be as enthusiastic about the company’s mission and vision as possible. Often candidates seem unexcited- no passion, no excitement. It’s a sure turn- off for the employer.

FORGET TO ASK QUESTIONS
Asking questions show your enthusiasm and interest in the position and simply shows you have been paying attention.
If the candidate doesn’t ask any questions , it is assumed that he hasn’t done his homework about the company and doesn’t truly understand what the company does. Secondly, it shows that the candidate lacks intellectual curiosity.
Candidates should prepare a list of strong questions beforehand and ask them even if you know the answers.

TALK TOO MUCH
Avoid unnecessary rumblings. Talk to the point and be concise. No need to talk continuously. It will definitely hamper a candidate’s prospects.

LEAVE YOUR CELL PHONE ON
You should turn off your cell phone before entering the interview room. If the phone keeps on ringing or beep sounds keep on coming from the candidate’s phone, the interviewers will assume that the candidate is not very serious and is not giving due importance to the interview. They will get distracted and will form a negative opinion about the candidate.

DRESSING INAPPROPRIATELY AND POOR BODY LANGUAGE
The first impression formed about a candidate is when the interviewer set his eyes on him/her for the first time. How you dress up tells a lot about you. Avoid casual clothes. Dress properly for the occasion. Candidates should show that they are serious about the interview. Also wear proper shoes.

Body language in an interview is crucial. Avoid slump posture, shaking legs, crossing arms, not making proper eye contact- all these shows nervousness and create poor opinion for the candidate. Sit straight and maintain your composure. Look in the eye and give answers confidently. This gives a message that the candidate is self-assured and confidant.
