My fourth top tip is all about readiness. Readiness is about the blend of planning, preparation, poise, anticipation, instinct and creativity. It is about being ready and willing to embrace, shape and create opportunities. It requires listening - and putting the work in. It's about being clear, focused and organised and proactive. Readiness, at its best, is also about open shift, adapt and change when required.
