Top 10, What to visit in Croatia, Zagreb, Split and other beautiful places.

10 : Zagreb Dome

The capital of Croatia is not the most beautiful city in the "Land of Coasts, Islands and Waterfalls", but it is definitely worth seeing ! Zagreb exudes a medieval air, but it has begun to be flanked by modernism, with a lot of museums, each more nonconformist. If you can believe it, this is the Museum of Failed Relationships or the Museum of Optical Illusions! Now do you understand why it's worth taking a city break in Zagreb? It may not be a star destination, but these museums make you want to visit them just by seeing their names!

Anyway, if you come to Zagreb you can't miss St. Stephen's Dome, an imposing building that is often confused with St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. So, 10th place goes to the Zagreb Dome, an architectural gem!
9 : Opatija and its beaches

If you want to relax and have a light schedule, you can go to Opatija. It is one of the most famous seaside resorts in Croatia, offering surprises at every turn. Unfortunately, I didn't get to explore it much, but I left with a very good impression and I think it deserves a place in this top.
8 :The old town of Zadar

A city I didn't go to in vain! I saw a little Venice here, and what makes me believe this is the presence of a Baptistery, which looks very much like the pictures of Venice! You can't ride a gondola, but all the architecture of this town has Venetian influences and it's still on the Dalmatian Coast. So, lots of highlights!
7 : The harbour in Krk

Want to take a cruise on the Adriatic Sea? Then, all you have to do is get to the port of Krk. Itirecommand you not to stick to the cruise ! Take a walk around the port area as well, because you will find some unique attractions! One of them is the town's Clock Tower. Then you can enjoy a well-deserved cruise!

6 : Roman Amphitheatre in Pula

Well, you've definitely heard of this destination, which hides a very rich history. Besides, you don't need tickets, because the town is a real open-air museum! If you haven't been to Rome, you might confuse this arena with the Colosseum!
5 : The narrow streets of Split

If you want to feel the vibe of this city, take the streets at a walk! And don't miss the monuments of Split: the Cathedral, the Temple of Jupiter, the Golden Gate or Diocletian's Palace would be the main attractions! I almost forgot, make a short stop in the harbour and take the pulse of the area, at least for a few minutes!

4 : Dalmata coast, beautiful views and hilltop resorts

If you're driving, don't miss the opportunity to take a road trip in the area. How about seeing Dubrovnik from above? Or any other resort, it doesn't matter! The important thing is to capture wonderful shots of the hilltop castles. The Dalmatian coast is a harmonious mix of sea and hills! I haven't been to Mount Srd, but I keep hearing from friends that it's worth a trip here to capture Dubrovnik from above!

3 : Cruise on the Adriatic

As I said, if you arrive in the port of Krk you can opt for a cruise on 4 islands : Krk, Cres, Plavnik and Kormati. Just you and the Adriatic! And don't forget that you have the chance to see gorillas or seagulls! Winding waters, rocks like out of a movie and lots of blue!
2 : Dubrovnik, the pearl of the Adriatic,

I must admit, it's my favourite medieval town ! Why ? For the city walls, for the winding streets, for the Stradun, for the gelato, for the cathedrals that fill the old town, for everything ! You can't miss this fantastic city if you come to Croatia, called by Byron "The Pearl of the Adriatic" !
1 : The wonder of nature in Croatia: Plitvice National Park

Here I don't have many words to say ! It is one of the most beautiful European nature parks, with waterfalls, azure lakes, rich flora and fauna and lots of fresh air ! All in all, Plitivce National Park is my favourite place in Croatia and a wonder of nature! So, go to Plitvice !
This top is made in the context of places I have seen. If you have others to add, don't hesitate to say them!
