WR Scheme Fits:
Possession: Outside receiver with a balanced skillset. Can run any route on the field and has few weaknesses but due to any combination of lack of size, quickness, and/or physicality is not best utilized in the slot. Emphasizes all traits. Routes 0-9
Physical: Big bodied wide receivers who can play anywhere on the field, even close to the line as a tight end of sorts. Make for excellent threats in the Red Zone Emphasizes Run Block, Hands, Catch In Traffic, Jumping, and RAC. Routes 0-6
Vertical: Traditional deep threat specialist on the outside, receiver who specializes in routes 4-9. Emphasizes Speed, Release, Long Routes, Catch in Traffic and Height
Playmaker: Often not a refined route runner or equipped with the best hands, these receivers are exceptional after the catch but often need plays desgned to get them the ball or to be schemed open. Emphasizes Speed, Acceleration, Agility, and RAC. Routes 0,1,2,9, and Crossers
Slot: Receivers capable of being quickly available for the Quarterback by either seperating quickly or being a size/speed mismatch problem for linebackers and defensive backs who can win contested catches. Can be schemed out of handling press coverage. Emphasizes Acceleration, Catch In Traffic, Hands, Agility, Run Block, and RAC. Roues 0-4
