I seriously wish I had a button on my desk for retcons, that I could hit everyone time I found a new one. There are just that many.
Today we’re going to talk about the dreaded enemy of comic book continuity, or at least digestive comic book continuity, retcons. A retcon is when something that is already established as having happened is retroactively changed so that it never did or perhaps happened differently. It was all a dream! That kind of thing. Some of these retcons can be small, some of the retcons can be huge. Some need to happen while others seem to be more questionable in terms of why exactly the publisher and creative team felt they needed to take place. Today we’re going to be focusing on Marvel comics and some of their more mind-boggling ones as we count down the Top 10 Worst Marvel Comics Retcons.
