Happy New Year! A new month means it's time to update the chart for the most liked female #kpop videos on Youtube released within the last six months (July 2019 - December 2019). There have been so so so many amazing songs released recently (here's looking at you #CL!) that compiling this chart has been a real treat. I hope you enjoy it!

HOW THE CHART WORKS:
- Songs are included in this chart only if they are from a female k-pop solo artist, a female k-pop girl group, a co-ed k-pop group, or a collaboration where the female artist is billed equally.
- Japanese releases by female k-pop artists are included as long as the song is not a remake of a previously released Korean language version.
- Songs are ordered by the total Youtube LIKES (rather than views), of which ever version of the MV is most popular (i.e. the version uploaded by 1thek, the company, OR the group's personal account). Any subsequent videos such as performance videos or specials are disregarded and do not count toward the total. My personal belief is that this gives a fairer and more accurate reflection of a song's genuine popularity.
- The song must have been released within the last six months. A six-month rather than twelve-month period allows for much more movement, which keeps the chart fresh and interesting!
