Segway: This is going to be ordered from best to worst, and trust me it gets bad to the point where some of them don’t even have FSCS Insurance up to 85k on your money
1. Money Box: Acorns Alternative
- This app is the equivalent of acorns in the Uk

- Different types of Portfolios: Cautious, Balanced, and Adventurous | Made from a Cash Fund, Global Share Fund, Property Shares Fund
- Saving Account 1.4% savings
- You can rollover your investment funds inside
- Rewards for buying with them with popular brands ( found money)
- They are FSCS insured up to 85k
- They also Have a lifetime ISA, to help buy your first home or retire, where the government gives you 25% more one whatever you saved up 4k per year ( I wish we had that in the US) – you do have to be 18-39 and do it up to 50 years up.

Final Thoughts: Money is the Best one, But it’s the best out of a bunch of bad eggs
2. Plum Investing App ( reminds me of Wealthfront with the ai investing Features )
- It is basically an AI that calculates your spending based on your spending history, and then sets aside money for saving or investing automatically.
Pro:
- $1 invest
- Round-Ups
- 650k people using it ( but they still charge a fee)
- They over Vanguard Funds to invest into which is awesome
- A few investment options ( tech companies, the American dream and so on )
- And also if you don’t look like a risk they let you customize how you want to invest 80% bonds 20% bonds for example.
Cons:
- $1 a month
- .15% fee on investment value ( automatic work)
- .22-.09% on funds fees
- No interest-earning savings ( they want to you to invest)
- No rewards
- Pockets for different savings goals, Rainy day and 52-week challenges, are all pro features that cost an extra $1 per month = 2 per month – ( you'll need to have 342 at 7% to make that money back)
- No FSCS Protection ( but it held as e-money with MANGOPAY which is regulated by European law, and will return all your money back to you )
Tip: Btw Algothrms Technology, has a very low cost, so they could have made a cheaper to attract even more people
3. Wombat.
- I think wombat is the equivalent of stash but worth.
Pros
- Start with $10
- FSCS Insured
- Roundups
- Wombat is like the Stash app of the Uk but just Worst.
Cons:
- .45% and $1 fee for balance over $1000 ( acorns are 1,000,000 and then they charge a fee)
- Investment Theme are a terrible idea ( just make like a normal portfolio with Vanguard ETF’s to choose from and call it a day)
