Description

Looking to build a portfolio or to add ETFs to your existing holdings? Trying to decide what to invest in for 2021? This video will break down my personal choice for the top 5 Canadian ETFs to buy going into 2021. Many Canadian investors are looking for a set it and forget it style of investing, something where they don't have to actively manage, it will be actively managed for them, that's where these 5 ETFs come in. Without giving the entire video away, my personal choice for the top 5 ETFs to watch in 2021 are, in no particular order: VEQT, VSP, XIU, VIU and XDIV. I give a breakdown in the video of what % each ETF should represent and in which account you should hold it in, whether it be RRSP, TFSA, taxable or margin. If this is your first time visiting the channel or are new to investing and ETFs in general, please check out my 2 previous videos 'intro to ETFs' and 'S&P 500 ETFs for Canadians', those 2 videos will give you a great base level of knowledge before jumping to this video.

Hey guys, welcome to the channel I'm a full time Chartered Accountant as well as a part time Real Estate agent with a background in finance, investing, budgeting and of course, real estate.

I've been on a personal mission for the last 10 years to build multiple streams of income, including both passive and active income. On this journey, I've gained a ton of domain knowledge about personal finance and investments that I would love to share.

My goal for this channel is to help you understand basic taxes, personal finance, investing, budgeting and expense management.
