Tech has a variety of opportunities and not just software engineer. You don't have to learn to code to transition into tech and in this video I am going over the top careers in tech with no requirement to be technical (to code).
1. Product Manager. Product Manager is a great role for someone who wants to oversee product strategy, team roadmap, goals, and vision. You will be working cross functional partners such as designers, data scientists, content managers who will execute on the product you are building.
2. Content Strategist. If you love language and storytelling, content strategist might be a role for you. Any text you see on Facebook, Airbnb, Google, is created by a content strategist. They are ensuring that the use of words represents the values of the brand and the message is consistent across the platform.
3. Technical Program Manager. TPM is an enabler for better processes and visibility across the companies, they help the teams to execute more efficiently. TPMs leverage your expertise to identify and define the most critical priorities and establish best practices for the team.
4. UX Designer. If you’re good at identifying and articulating the strengths and weaknesses of products, understanding user needs, and sifting through data, UX design could be calling your name. Plus, you’ll have the satisfaction of making your users’ lives easier, and creating the product designs.
5. Chief of Staff. Super hot and growing role right now, you can be working directly with the CEO or another leader at the company. You are leader's right hand and strategic partner for the leader you're working with, so you will have an opportunity to work on a variety of initiatives.
