It marks the latest successful "Spider-Man" movie from the last few years.

The "Far From Home" predecessor, "Spider-Man: Homecoming," earned $880 million worldwide in 2017. Last year's "Venom" made a surprising $855 million globally. And the animated "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" made $375 million worldwide and won the Oscar for best animated feature earlier this year.

Sony and Disney's Spider-Man partnership has come to an end after the two sides could not reach an agreement over the character's future movie appearances.

"Spider-Man: Far From Home" is the first "Spider-Man" movie to hit $1 billion worldwide and is getting rereleased with an extra scene.

We ranked every "Spider-Man" movie worst to best, from 2002's "Spider-Man" to "Far From Home."
