Top Free Things To Do in Singapore Vlog Episode 1: Watch the Light Shows at Marina Bay

Hi guys, we'd like to share our first travel adventure on a budget. Traveling doesn't have to be expensive, there are countless things you can do without spending a penny!

There are 2 light shows in the Marina Bay area (as far as I know) that you can go to all on the same night, that's what we did.

First one is light show at the Shoppes, a luxury mall in Singapore, and then second is Garden Rhapsody at the Supertree Grove

*Light Show at The Shoppes:
Every day the show starts at 8:00 pm and 9:30 pm, on Fridays and Saturdays there is another show at 11:00 pm.

How to get there: Take the MRT to Bayfront Station, walk through the Shoppes to get to the Event Plaza

*Garden Rhapsody at Supertree Grove:
The light show is scheduled every day at night. The first show takes place at 7:45 pm and the second is at 8:45 pm. To truly enjoy it, other spectators just like you are lying on the ground beneath the giant trees!

Tip: Bring a mat and watch the 2 shows. Bring some snacks too! We brought some bananas!

How to get there: Take the MRT to Bayfront Station. Take exit B and pass through the underground linkway, then cross the Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge to reach Gardens by the Bay.
