CM Jagan raises doubt on Visakha incidents
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday announced Rs 1 crore compensation to the families in a gas leak incident at LG Polymers near RR Venkatapuram village on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam.
Addressing the media after consoling the victims at KGH in Vizag, the CM declared that 9 persons have d8d and 348 admitted in various hospitals. He also announced Rs 10 lakh compensation for those who are in ICU and Rs 1 lakh compensation for in-patient hospitalisation. He said that a panel will be constituted to probe the exact reason for the gas leakage from the chemical plant.
