Top Ten Weirdest Yu-Gi-Oh Monster Counterparts

There’s a lot of weird things in early Yu-Gi-Oh that make us say “what were they thinking” looking at how the game has evolved. A handful of early monsters were recolored and repositioned to create “new” monsters. Sometimes they were clearly intended to be related to the monster they were based on, while other times, they were trying to pull the wool over our eyes and hope we didn’t notice some of the differences.
