The 2008 Financial Crisis brought wide spread changes to both the banking and investment banking sectors, Margin Call depicts an unnamed investment bank that begins a mass layoff on the trading floor during a normal business day following the crisis. Many thought Leonardo DiCaprio deserved an Oscar for his roll as Jordan Belfort who in 1987 lands a job as a Wall Street stockbroker for L.F. Rothschild, employed under Mark Hanna, who quickly entices him with the "lavish" life of a Wall Street stock broker. And finally we look at Rogue Trader, the movie depicts Nick Leeson, a young British man working at Barings, a major investment bank. Sent to Singapore and placed in a position of authority at the bank's branch there, Leeson takes advantage of the thriving Asian market to make risky trades.
