US Storms cause major coastal erosion
Description
Communities in north-east Ohio are on high alert as a new series of winter storms cause coastal erosion along the country's east coast.
Storms, high lake levels and a lack of ice on Lake Erie have already cut 45 feet of ground from a shoreline park this month.
Residents are hoping taxpayers will approve a levy on the ballot in March that will fund a retaining wall to prevent further damage.
Concern the erosion will impact utility lines is prompting state law makers to consider emergency funding to repair critical infrastructure damage.
