Vaani Kapoor May Land up in Jail for Her Fashion. Vaani Kapoor who was last seen alongside Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the movie War, may land up in jail. Her last film was the biggest hit of 2019 but what made the situation so worse that she may end up in jail? Vaani Kapoor has found herself again in the news but this time for all the wrong reasons. The ‘war’ actress has found herself in trouble for her terrible fashion sense. A police complaint was filed against the actress where the complainant requested for an FIR. Recently, Vaani Kapoor uploaded a photo of herself striking a pose in a top with plunging neckline. What caught the attention was the top she was wearing which had ‘Ram’ written all over it. Immediately she was called out by people in the comment section of her Instagram post. A resident of Mumbai has filed the complaint against the actress at NM Joshi Marg Police Station. Even the commissioner of Mumbai police accused Vaani for hurting religious sentiments of people with her outfit. Vaani’s top had a plunging neckline revealing too much skin of her that made her look vulgar. The complainant Rama Sawant said she found Vaani in semi-nude position wearing cloth-like Ramnami. She requested an FIR against actress Vaani Kapoor for an offence punishable u/s. 215A of IPC and take further legal action. Vaani’s Twitter and Instagram handle was full of hateful comments where people poured their anger. People even threatened Vaani of boycotting her films if she dosen’t apologise of her wrong doings. If the FIR gets filed Vaani would be imprisoned for unknown duration which would affect her upcoming projects. All the threats and FIR has left the directors and producers of her next film in a worried state. As we know we will get to see Vaani Kapoor next in Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Shamshera’. But seems like problems are not ready to live ‘Shamshera’ as Ranbir has cancelled shootings because of his injury. Now the FIR and Boycott threats to Vaani Kapoor are leaving the future of ‘Shamshera’ unknown. As ‘Shamshera’ is set to be released on 31st July 2020, Vaani’s imprisonment may affect the post production and promotion of the film. After facing trolls at various social platforms and after the police complaint Vaani removed the picture from her account. But seems like people aren’t still happy as they want Vaani to apologise for hurting their sentiments. This 31-year-old actress was previously trolled badly for her cosmetic surgery.
