Versova Beach Cleanup - Plastic waste segregation and recycling activity at Versova beach, Mumbai

Starting New Year 2020 with a solemn pledge of sensitising community and employees about single use plastic, on Jan. 4th, IndianOil mobilised youth power by calling upon students from Mumbai colleges and employees to volunteer for plastic waste segregation and recycling activity at Versova beach. A massive response resulted in segregation of waste in different categories which was then collected by BMC for recycling. The activity on Versova Beach was one of the most well attended single-location events in the city of Mumbai.
