A police team was attacked in Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday afternoon when they tried to stop a people from offering mosque flouting lockdown guidelines. The chowki in-charge and two other police personnel were injured in the attack. A video went viral last Friday, that shows a large congregation offering prayers in Noida's Sector 16. Soon after that, the state government decided to deploy drones at these religious sites to see that social distancing is maintained.
