This talk focuses on the need for everyone to volunteer. it brings out the essence of volunteerism and why young people should be involved in it. The Speaker states that 'There is no problem in the society that the people in the society cannot solve.' Chiedozie Nwafor is a Biomedical scientist and Public Health professional who deploys evidence-based models to tackling some of the biggest global health challenges while enhancing access to healthcare, especially for under-served populations. He holds a Bachelors degree in Biological sciences from the University of Abuja, a Masters degree in Biomedicine from Lancaster University, UK and certifications in Global Health from the Imperial College London and Public Management from The Ohio State University, USA.
Chiedozie is a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community, a recipient of the UK government's Chevening Scholarship award for emerging global leaders, the U.S government's Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders and the UNLEASH UN SDGs Global Talents award. In June 2018, he was named as one of the Top 10 Black Students in the UK at the annual Rare Rising Stars Awards held at the UK parliament.
