What makes a great trader? What skills do you need to be a trader? What kind of skills and character traits make a good trader? In other words what are the qualities of a good trader? These are my thoughts from observing and researching some great traders and also examining my own trading journey over the years. What are the traits of successful traders?

Qualities Good Traders Have That Most People Don’t Get
- Calm under pressure
- Ability to observe emotions and act as needed
- Humble enough to know what/when to trade
- Risk seeking but also strong at preserving capital
- Can adapt quickly
- Objective
- Confident but not cocky
- Enjoy the markets
- Not focused on being right
- See the markets differently
