What The Tech Wednesdays-2 | What is Aperture? | Telugu
Description
This video explains what an Aperture is and how it affects photos in mobile phone. The aperture in mobile phones is fixed hence cannot be changed. Aperture is denoted with an f number e.g. f/1.8. The more the f number the less aperture would be and vice versa. The more aperture lets more light coming onto the image sensor via the lens. Also more aperture provides better bokeh (background blur) in especially in portrait photos. However with the increase of the aperture while shooting, the images will become less sharper. Normally image becomes sharper from around f/4 and above and also depends on the focal length of the lens. Normally Prime Lenses have fixed aperture in DSLR cameras.
*****Sorry for the trouble*****
There was a problem with comparison of photos taken while playing the video at that particular. That particular part becomes blur while playing the video but when paused the picture become sharper. This was due to the problem while rendering in FCP X. You can pause the video and compare the photos.
