What will be the most popular sports cards of the 2010s?

Back in 2018, Mike Payne of Beckett published a list of his top 80 baseball cards of the 1980s. His article provided a great reflection on some of the most popular cards from the childhoods of many collectors and how those cards are viewed today.

In today's video, I attempt to put myself in Payne's shoes and forecast what a list of the top 10 cards from the 2010s would look like in 2050. This video is purely speculation based, but I discuss the long-term outlook of popular cards of superstars such as Mike Trout, Tom Brady, and LeBron James, along with the hottest rookie cards of the emerging superstars in sports, such as Ronald Acuna Jr., Patrick Mahomes, and Luka Doncic.
