William Bell - "Easy Comin' Out (Hard Goin' In)" (1977)
Description
William Bell - "Easy Comin' Out (Hard Goin' In)"
(b/w "Your Love Keeps Me Goin'")
(William Bell/Paul Mitchell)
Mercury single 73961
Released in October 1977, and while "Easy Comin' Out..." peaked at number 30 on the US Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart, the song did not make the Hot 100 at all.
Produced by William Bell and Paul Mitchell.
This is his 1977 follow-up release to his previous Top 10 Hot 100 smash hit "Tryin' To Love Two" - and while the title of the song sounds raunchy enough, it actually deals with how easy it is to come out of your own home in a strained relationship, but so hard to go back inside.
Since its release, this song (and "Tryin' To Love Two" as well) is now one of the all-time biggest songs to ever hit the Carolina Beach Music scene.
