1. I ask myself why I care so much about saving this game and saving pvp, and the only reason I can think of is I just genuinely love this game so much. I literally do not play games, I only play wiz, it's not because I like playing games, it's only because I like wiz. I cannot see my first love childhood game sink like this and not do my part to help save it.
2. I've uploaded about 7 videos of my myth, all at 1700 rank, totaling about 35 matches, all done at random times during the day. I hope this gives duelists an insight of what real top tier pvp matches look like. Almost every booster I've encountered with an impossible ratio makes the claim that they are simply better than generational duelists who have done pvp for 5-10 YEARS when they themselves have only done pvp for 1-3 years, and sometimes literally less than a year, and because they are just so much better they simply don't need to do as many matches to get a top tier rank. What these kids don't understand because they don't do real matches is that once you reach a certain rank, in this case of a Legend Myth once you reach 1700, you have hit what is called a plateau, and each school and level division has a different plateau, but once you hit it, it is simply impossible to keep going without first acquiring an ugly ratio and doing hundreds of matches. That is because 33% of your matches become flee-first-round matches, where you do not have a chance to win even if you make the most optimal move every turn and do not make a single mistake. Which by itself is impossible because no duelist can finish a match that lasts over 10 rounds without making a single mistake. Another 33% of your matches are easier matches that you should be able to win without much trouble. These two types of matches will cancel each other out, and it is only in the third type of match, the last 33% of your matches, where you can actually rank up, and this last 33% involves facing other top tier duelists who are also around your level, and are also extremely good at pvp. This is where you can actually rank up, and if you can consistently win around 55% of your matchups in this third type of match, then you are on your way to becoming a top tier duelist. Yes if you are a great duelist then you can have a beautiful ratio when you hit the plateau, but if you decide to keep going after you hit the plateau because you want to get a top tier rank, then it is simply impossible to do so without getting an "ugly" ratio and doing hundreds of matches. That is why it took Talon Lotus 578 matches to become the first legit duelist in 4th age pvp to crack 3k rank, using a Legend Ice, the most broken school/level combination in game. You can argue that Exalted Ice is actually the most broken school/level combination in game, but no one would argue against Ice being the most broken school in game by a thousand miles.
3. I hear KI developers on Twitter talk a lot about school imbalances, and how balancing schools is the first priority when it comes to fixing pvp. I personally believe that school imbalance is not even a problem at all. Every school outside of Ice is already balanced. If a Myth battles a Balance for 10 matches, then the result will be about 5-5 provided both duelists are of the same level and skill level. The same can be said for any other school combination outside of Ice. Is Balance a top tier school and is Myth a bottom tier school? Yes and yes. That power difference, however, is not large enough to warrant a difference when it comes to the outcome of matches, again provided that both duelists are of equal level and skill level. Now if an Ice battles a bottom tier school, then yes the Ice will win the majority of the matchups even if both duelists are of equal level and skill level. Yes Ice is broken, but you can't have complete balance between 7 schools, it’s just too many schools. There is also beauty in imbalance. There is beauty in having a common antithesis in the game that everyone dislikes. There is also beauty in an underdog story, to overcome the odds and come out on top despite inherent disadvantages.
4. Everyone needs more defenses. Everyone needs to have the boot off of their throats. You can't even begin to setup or execute your strategy if you have to heal or shield every turn just to stay alive. On the flip side, after everyone has more defenses, matches also cannot take forever. Reshuffles need to be limited to 1 or 2. How long someone is willing to sit in a match should not be a determining factor in whether or not that person will win the match. When you limit reshuffles, you force people to make moves and not stall. Nobody likes stalling.

I DO NOT want credit for this. Take these ideas as your own. This is not for me, it is for the community, and it is for Wizard101. Thank you.
