Won’t let universities become ‘adda’ of politics: HRD Minister on JNU violence

Reacting to the attack on JNU students inside the university premises by masked goons on January 05, Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on January 06 said the universities are meant for education and he will not let them become an “adda” of politics. “Universities are meant for education and should never be made a political base. Action will be taken against those who will be found guilty. Will never let universities become "adda" for politics,” Pokhriyal told reporters in Bhubaneswar.
