You Won’t Believe These Dramatic Transformations - ‘My 600-Lb. Life’: Where Are They Now?

The OG of My 600-lb Life, Melissa Morris, was the very first person featured in the show. When Melissa first appeared on the show, she was 653 pounds. After gastric bypass surgery, she lost 500 pounds and used her new weight loss to do what she always wanted to do, have children.
These days she's in a much different place. While an episode of My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now? revealed that Morris' weight has fluctuated over the years, you can see on her Instagram page that she's living her best life every day.

If you're familiar with Morris' journey, you know that having children was something she desperately wanted. Despite her unlikely odds (a doctor once told her she only had a 2 percent chance of getting pregnant, according to her TLC interview), Morris became a mom to Allona on May 1, 2010. Today, she's a mom three times over according to a post on her Instagram page. However, after having two kids, she realized how hard it was to stay fit while raising kids.
“I didn’t realize how hard it was going to be when you have kids and have food for them around you all day long,” she said during her Where Are They Now? special that aired in 2016. “It’s hard to stick to a diet.”

On top of her motherhood duties, which definitely keep her busy, Morris also speaks publicly about her journey. She's also been active in Weight Watchers for several years now. Additionally, she's been going to concerts, enjoying time at the beach, catching baseball games, and reading books. There's no slowing her down!

7. Zsalynn Whitworth
Season 2 of My 600-lb Life opened with Zsalynn Whitworth's story, which famously included her manipulative and unsupportive husband, who prioritized his fetish over Whitworth's literal life and death. Zsalynn weighed well over 600 pounds and was so desperate to earn money for gastric bypass surgery, that she started modeling for “fat fetish” websites. After successfully getting the surgery and dropping 300 pounds, she confessed during her 2015 Where Are They Now? special that she and her husband got a divorce. “Gareth hasn’t found much good in my changes,” she said on the show. “It’s time for us to admit it’s over.”

They still share joint custody of their daughter, but the romance is long since over. In the segment, Zsalynn also got candid about her emotional state. She admitted that she struggled with loneliness and depression, as well as her cravings for sweets following the divorce. In spite of those challenges, however, she decided that she wants to press forward and finally get skin removal surgery. Zsalynn dropped even more weight after having 52 pounds of excess skin removed from her body, and she also documents her weight loss progress on Facebook. She also expressed a desire to be more active and start dating, certainly worthy ambitions.
