Update: better overclocks when I applied my own (noctua, it's better than thermal grizzly) thermal paste. The cold plate that touches the GPU die is made of COPPER. Taking the card apart is really easy, but I don't recommend doing so. Zotac says on their fourms that they dont mind you changing the paste, if you do not break the card.
Update #2: I replaced all but one of the thermal pads and added thermal pads to the VRM phase chokes: proformance increased by a lot. 9°F off idle. I also used the new noctua H2, which is very good stuff. Score of 120% on userbenchmark, the max 2070 score at this time is 119%. Zotac has made a top-tier card.
I notice the cooler and chassis of the cooler is very well made, you definitely get a great cooler for MSRP price. I'm really suprised Zotac decided to do such a good job.
Runs all games at max @ 1080p: I came from a 980ti, which it's about 50% faster than.
The box just came with the card and 2 molex to PCIE graphics card connectors. There's also some papers that's just zotac's advertising and instructions you don't need.
The 2070 super is not like the 2070. The original 2070 uses the 2060's chipset, while the 2070 super uses the 2080's chipset. The GDDR6 memory is very fast compared to the GDDR5. You get 8 GBs of GDDR RAM to work with.
I'm running the Cooler Master H500, results may vary with your case:
I just got this and am still currently playing around with overclocking it. I am hoping to get close to RTX 2080 (non-super) stock performance by overclocking it.
Update : running out of 1440p monitor, on ultra settings, getting about 85 FPS overclocked on division 2. according to certain sites online in RTX 2080 gets around 84 FPS. So I would say overclocked I'm getting my money's worth.
Division 2 stable overclock :
160 Core
800 memory.
Update 09/08/19: With Nvidia newest driver update, I can no longer overclock to 160 Core at a stable level. Currently 140 Core is the current stable level.
