Top 10 Magic Tricks That Went Horribly Wrong

Abracadabra, impendiosum catale, and now you see a rabbit, or not. Well, I may have got that wrong, but I'm still practising so I apologise if any viewer watching this turned into something they shouldn't have, but it's okay because it should go away as soon as you blink 3 times, or is it if you say terariun magica? Maybe you might like to Google this. We love playing here at the channel, and we promise you're gonna be impressed by this cool vid. Some of it might shock you, though.

Hey there, Youtubers! Welcome back to another awesome episode of Mind Read. We're so unbelievably excited that you could join us today! And in this awesome video, we're going to take a look at the 10 magic tricks that went horribly wrong! Can you imagine it, there in front of a live audience, or even on video for television. You've practiced for months and months, and then boom, it's a total catastrophe. Not only is your reputation affected, but perhaps you're in real danger, and that's not cool at all. Some might even pass away! So without further adieu, we're gonna see the top 10 magic tricks that went horribly wrong...

Number 10: At our tenth spot we can tell you that this magic trick was featured on America's Got Talent. In fact, throwing knives is pretty dangerous at the best of times, and when someone's spinning on a wheel, then this magic or outlandish performance has the potential to go horribly wrong. So this magic duo weren't truly ready for the malfunction that occurred in the spinning wheel department. Sounds like a new aisle at Walmart. It's not though, I checked. Anyway, the woman on the board was not ready to be underneath the structure, and she knew the dangers beforehand, right? Knives coming at her body, but not malfunctioning spinning wheels. Ugh, how frustrating!

Actually, it was the crew's fault, because they forgot to screw that one screw in the back before the show. Mike Duffy, you need to look for another job. Oh, it wasn't you? Okay, let's just blame gravity and be grateful that no one was seriously hurt by this one. It does look a little uncomfortable when we play it back, and maybe we could just hook the wheel up and try again? Unless we need a chiropractor. Geez, this one was horrible, but she's totally okay, we promise.

Number 9: At spot number 9 in the countdown, we have this footage of a television show with these guys, the magic people. Are they called wizards or magicians, I always get that confused? Well anyway, this trick is supposed to show the guy in the box disappear, and be replaced with another person, swapping places as if they teleport. However, you could say that not all is what it seems, because the seams of the curtain, actually the entire curtain loses its most important role in the whole show, which is undoubtedly the curtain holder's fault. And this guy, well he only had one job, but it wasn't executed well, not at all.

And as embarrassing as it is, we see the behind-the-scenes action, and the guy in the box trick (aka teleporting) is actually climbing, and the hosts of the show and the audience think it's absolutely hilarious. And we agree. This trick went horribly wrong, and I tell you that these wizards need to learn their craft a little better, especially for live TV. Ooops! Maybe a new curtain is in order? Or maybe they need a new day job. It was funny though, and it takes our number 9 spot here in the countdown today.

Number 8: At the eighth spot in our countdown, we can tell you that this guy, Charles Rowen, well he was a South African illusionist. And he loved doing straight jacket jumps and even jumped onto broken glass as his favorites. So let's see what he attempted that went horribly wrong.

In Spring, Fontaine; in the year 1930, the illusionist was performing for an audience there. Tied into a straight jacket, he was supposed to get out of it as a car headed straight, smack-bang towards him. And this already sounds a little too extra, right? Eeeek. From 600 feet away at a speed of 25 miles per hour, well that didn't give Charles much wriggle room for error at all. Only a 10 to 15-second window for escape, actually. Unfortunately, Charles couldn't do it in time, and yes, you guessed it, the car actually ran him over. Hundreds of onlookers witnessed the event and it went down as a terribly sad and epic fail for the famous illusionist in that period of history.

Number 7: Spot 7 goes to this footage of Benjamin Rucker, also known magically as “Black Herman.” And he would wow crowds of black people mostly, due to the segregation laws that were in place at the time. In fact, he was the most popular magician of that time and very well known and highly professional in his acts.
