10 Most Expensive Houses in The World
When we mention the word 'home', it evokes a sense of comfort and humility. But, there's more to a 'house' than just modesty and utility for those who are listed as the richest people on Earth. To them, a home is a place where they can invest much of their money, afford incredible luxuries, and show off their riches. If you take a short tour inside the house of Donald Trump, for example, you will find almost everything in gold. Even, in the house of Bill Gates where he has screens showing any desired painting, photograph, or artwork costing $150,000!!! But are these the most expensive houses in the world? Not quite, today we take a look at 10 Most Expensive Houses in The World:
10. Palazzo di Amore, Beverly Hills, California – $129 Million
The 25-acre Palazzo di Amore estate is in Beverly Hills, California, located at 9505 Lania Lane. Identified as the Palazzo di Amore after Jeff Greene and his wife were married there. The property was designed by famous architect Bob Offenhauser and developed by Hadid Development. It has a living area of over 50,000 square feet, with a total of 12 bedrooms and 23 bathrooms. There’s the main house about 35,000 square feet, a 15,000 square feet entertainment building, a large detached garage, and a guest house.
What’s the world’s name that could be in the entertainment building? Well, the entertainment building features a ballroom, wet bar, home theater with 49 seats, stage, bowling alley, and much more. While the outdoor features include a gated entrance, fountain, multiple motor courts, loggias & terraces, gardens, spa pool, reflecting swimming pool, and a lighted tennis court.
9. Gemini, Manalapan, Florida – $137.5 Million
Now, this is what we call an investment. Back in 1985, media entrepreneur William Ziff purchased a 15-acre ocean-to-lake Palm Beach property for $5 million. He designed a few houses on it, along with a nice pool, and in 2016, 31 years later, it gets listed for an incredible $195 million!!! It hasn’t sold unsurprisingly. And today, even with a price cut of $57 million, it’s now priced at $137.5 million which is still eye-watering.
The estate offers a 12-bedroom main residence; two 4-bedroom beachside cottages; a 7-bedroom Mango House; and a 4-bedroom guest or staff house. There are over 30 bedrooms in total, a series of formal and casual living and dining areas, a community space, libraries, offices, several terraces, an enormous wine cellar, and two elevators.
Gemini provides a variety of leisure facilities including a swimming pool, regular PGA golf field, tennis court rules, half basketball court, fitness center, and spa. Pathways connect to the ocean resort, as well as a dock and pier for boating and water sports on the lake. The Gulf Stream 's proximity provides Gemini with a special microclimate, cooling breezes and warmer seas, even though colder weather prevails in Miami, 65 miles south. These unique conditions permitted the development of extensive botanical gardens that exhibit nearly 1,500 tropical species replicating a "walk through the Caribbean." The offering of this exclusive enclave offers an opportunity to get a family compound that literally can’t be replicated.
8. 90 Jule Pond Drive, Southampton, New York – $145 Million
The 42 acres of Jule Pond, originally developed for the Ford family, comprise the largest ocean frontage in the Hamptons. The Southampton property is on sale once again, but this time for $145 million!
The sprawling property has everything you might have expected. There are 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a French-imported reception room, a six-car garage, private beach access to the ocean, and much more. The main house is "balanced around three main wings," one of which has a 48-foot-long living room.

Considered to be the third most-priced property in the City of Angels, Villa Firenze, is still without hand-raisers. Styled like an Italian castle, a 5,000-square-foot guest house, a pool house, and two other guest houses accompany the 20,000-square-foot main house, taking the total living area to more than 28,000 square feet! Other amenities include an additional development ripe 2.8-acre adjacent property, an enormous swimming pool, tennis court, and 30-car motor park.
