Sometimes internet is just slow, and there’s not much you can do about it (I’m looking at you, satellite internet users) and I’m sorry about that. But sometimes, those slow speeds? It might be our own dang fault. So I’m going to help you get out of your own way and get what you can out of your internet connection. I’ve got three categories to go over today:

Bonus tip! Upgrade your router. Your old router might not be capable of handling the speeds your ISP is trying to deliver.

Now, the 10 things you might be doing wrong:
HARDWARE
2:06 - 1. Your router is in the wrong spot
2:35 - 2. Your router has never been reset
3:43 - 3. You depend too much on wifi

SOFTWARE
4:43 - 4. You have 2,000 browser tabs open
5:30 - 5. You’re seeing every ad in the world (get an ad blocker!)
6:04 - 6. You’ve invited the criminal element onto your network
6:36 - 7. You never clear your cache

7:14 - 8. You’re hitting your data cap
7:57 - 9. Your plan sucks (switch it up!)
