10-Year-Old Shares How He Escaped Kidnapping Attempt

A 10-year-old Utah boy chased away men who tried to lure him into their car. Grayden Dowland tells Inside Edition that he was walking home from his basketball coach's house outside Salt Lake City at about 6 p.m. He just made it home when the car pulled up. He says two men in that car offered him candy and invited him to go for a ride. Video from his home’s surveillance camera shows Grayden scream for his mother, then pick up rocks and throw them at the car until it drove off.
