AGR dues case in Supreme Court: Telecos get 10 years to clear the outstanding dues

In the AGR dues case before the Supreme Court, it has issued an order allowing telecom companies to clear dues in a staggered manner. The telecom companies can pay their dues within 10 years. 10% of the outstanding dues to be paid by 31st March 2021.

Mirror Now's Meenakshi says this will be a relief for the telecom companies. Various attorneys have been involved in the case and have been praying for this relief. Vodafone was one of the first companies to approach Supreme Court saying if any more pressure was levied on them, they would hold off business operations entirely in India.
