ALDI Haul | £200 A MONTH BUDGET | FAMILY OF 4 + 2 CATS
Description
Aldi shopping Haul! We spend £200 a month on our groceries/food budget a month. We do one 'big' shop at the beginning of the month and then we use whatever is left in the budget to top up the shopping with fresh fruit and vegetables/milk/bread/cat food and anything else.
Cleaning products come out of our household budget (not food budget)
The charity items I bought came out of our MISC budget
Our £200 a month purely covers anything edible!
I try and batch cook as much as possible and stretch meals out by bulking them up with Vegetables/lentils and beans rather than more meat. For more tips on saving on your food shop click below:

We also realise the amount of packaging when doing a haul like this which is really frustrating and have recently been looking at how we can reduce this waste and find a local reduced packaged store/no waste store and increasing our budget to cover the difference in cost. We will make better choices i.e not putting fruit and vegetables in the bags provided and taking some paper or tote bags.
