The woman who was employed as a teacher at 25 government schools in Uttar Pradesh, Anamika Shukla, has said she had only applied for these jobs and did not take them up as she became pregnant at the time. Anamika Shukla said, “I had applied for the job of a teacher at different districts in 2017. I had submitted my documents for the application. But I never took up any of the jobs.” “I became pregnant and couldn’t take up the job although I had received several calls offering me a position as a science teacher at the government schools. Over the years I couldn’t take up the job due to my ailing health,” said Anamika Shukla.
